Viking Knit Bracelet: Viking knit is a woven wire technique that was developed by the Norse in Scandinavia (late 8th - mid 11th century). Contemporary jewelry designers have incorporated this same technique into their creations. When you join us for this class you too will learn this centuries old technique and incorporate it into your own Viking Knit bracelet. Instruction on creating a hook style clasp will also be included. Woven portion will be made with silver plated wire. Your choice of sterling silver focal bead.
(Note: The extended time frame is offered so that all participants will have the opportunity to complete their projects in class. You may be able to finish your project in less than 5 hrs. Complimentary tea, coffee, etc. will be available.)
